This is the eighth and final newsletter of the MED-GOLD project, which ends on 31 May 2022.

In this newsletter, we are sharing some insights from the Final Showcase event organised by MED-GOLD on 29-30 March 2022, as well as the project’s final General Assembly in Rome, Italy, on 19-20 May 2022.

MED-GOLD Final Showcase 2022

 

The MED-GOLD project held its two-day Final Showcase event online on 29-30 March 2022, with more than 200 participants. The attendees had the opportunity to learn about the climate services developed in the project and how they can help the agriculture sector face the challenges posed by climate change.

The first day of the event focused on the co-production approach used in MED-GOLD for the development of climate services together with users, while the second day focused on the legacy of the project and its relevance for society, the agri-food sector and beyond.

MED-GOLD General Assembly 2022

MED-GOLD partners held the project’s final General Assembly on 19-20 May 2022 at the headquarters of CREA in Rome, Italy. The discussions focused on the lessons learnt during the project, the legacy of the climate services developed for agriculture, including the exploitation of results, and on future collaborations.
