Assessing the benefits of the MED-GOLD climate services
The MED-GOLD Dashboard, the visualisation tool developed in the project for the grape/wine, olive/olive oil and durum wheat/pasta sectors, was showcased to interested users in a number of participatory workshops and meetings.
Activities with project users included a workshop to assess the benefits of the MED-GOLD dashboard for the olive sector. The workshop counted with the participation of users working in different areas of the Spanish agri-food cooperative DCOOP, and was held online in June 2021. This event followed a workshop held earlier this year, aimed to assess the benefits of the tool for the wine sector users in the SOGRAPE company (read more here and in our previous newsletter).
Showcasing the MED-GOLD Dashboard
The MED-GOLD dashboard was showcased during the last meeting of experts of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) in October 2021, and during a meeting of the COPA-COGECA Working Party on Olives & Olives Oil in November 2021.
Other participatory workshops are organised from December 2021 to February 2022 to showcase the dashboard and discuss its potential usability in the different sectors, as well as explore the conditions required to upscale and use the tool in organisations beyond those involved in the project.
Documentation for users
User guides for the MED-GOLD Dashboard
User guides for the different MED-GOLD sectors are available, illustrating the different features of the MED-GOLD dashboard and use cases on how to apply the tool in a decision-making context. The guides are available in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and Greek on the publications section of the project website.
